Thought I lost my whole (un-backed up) Proxmox Virtualization Environment installation there for a minute. Luckily, I was able to get it to come back up by removing the battery in the laptop and putting it back in.
Wasn’t able to get Proxmox server laptop to even start for about 10 minutes until taking it apart and disconnecting the battery. This led to another issue of not being able to get the Proxmox installation to boot. Turned out it was a simple fix of just going into the BIOS and enabling legacy boot again since clearing the CMOS reset that setting to disabled.
I don’t know if resetting the CMOS fixed it or what but, luckily, it’s back up and running and serving this website and blog again!
Update: had to go back into the BIOS and enable Virtualization Technology on the CPU to get the VMs to boot up. Containers had no issue without the option enabled since they just basically run in a docker-like container.
