Super annoyed that I’m not getting more than 1.5Gbps out of this fiber connection through my pfSense-on-Proxmox setup πŸ˜’

So, I’m assuming it’s my equipment and the virtualizing pfSense on Proxmox causing speeds to be slow, but I have no idea what’s going on with this since I’m straight into the ONT from a 10Gbe NIC. Possibly issues with the old Debian distro I’m using with Proxmox, or maybe it’s an issue with the networking stack.

Update: I tried OpnSense and I’m still only getting about 3gig/2gig. Something is really wonky here. Hoping to troubleshoot more and figure something out.

Update 2:

BINGO! Now we’re cooking with gas!
